Toa Payoh HDB Hub Coffee Bean[/caption]
The Coffee Bean is located inside Toa Payoh Hub and is facing a pretty mural made up of little mosaic tiles. If you are early, the cafe would not be crowded, and it is really nice to sit and sketch without much disturbance. When the time comes to about 10am, more office workers are going to stream. I sketched this because I was drawn to the "green" decor to the right of the cafe. Its like looking at a walled vertical garden. Very innovative and it helps to brighten the dull man made structures.

Holland Village Food Center[/caption]
I did another sketch on the same day at Holland Village sitting in a food place overlooking the Holland Village food center. You wouldn't miss seeing a roadside cobbler parked just at the entrance next to the flight of steps leading to the food center. You can get your shoes fixed while you have lunch.
