This was my second attempt to sketch and paint this temple that is found along Keong Siak Road. I used pastel paper instead and my all time favourite Hero fountain pen for the outlines. Then I added watercolor. Pastel paper does not hold the colors well so the colors appear kind of washed out when dried. Finally I added white pastel for the sky to create the contrast between the foreground and the background. Worked well on the colored pastel paper and I love the result.
